Marilia

Marilia Louka is an Architecture student at London Metropolitan University.

She was born in Greece, Athens, in 1993 and finished the IB programme at Athens College  in 2011.  From her really early ages, she knew that in her life she will do something that has to do with creativity and art, as she loved and had inclined in dance, music and drawing. The fact that she had as a higher level course, Art in high school, gave her the opportunity in exploring deeper the world of Art and Design. What lead her in studying architecture, was that somehow forms, shapes, geometry and science in her designs came out throughout her work. This certain talent gave her the ambition and the dream in achieving and transforming her designs into erecting buildings and physical structures.

In her first year in university she was amused by the fact that everything she designed required the creative manipulation and coordination of materials, technology, light and shadow and she understood every pragmatic aspect of realizing a building and a structure.

Her aim is to travel all around the world, see new cultures, learn and analyze every aspect of our world, dance as much as she can and design her own place, where harmony and joy for creation will only exist.
